Review: Torment: A Dark Captive Romance

Torment: A Dark Captive Romance by Stella Hart My rating: 5 of 5 stars More Pain and Torment The story starts in present after 8 years from where Taken has ended with Jolie leading a free life with PTSD from the New Eden and Mason stalking her after surviving the bomb plant by Jacob (Jolie's Dad). First two chapters go by what happened in the lives of Jolie, Mason and New Eden Sadistic, after the exposure of New Eden. In Taken's prologue there was glimpse of Jolie being Mason's captive and how he claiming her killed his family and she was shocked to know what she did. But after reading the Taken, I personally felt like how a person who loves Jolie can take her as his captive. Towards the ending the author had given a clue that this might be the reason for him to captivates her and take revenge on her. Torment has the ability to blow up the readers mind with lot of twists and turns. What really happened, what had been misunderstood, what decisio...

Review: Wife for Now

Wife for Now by Penny Wylder My rating: 5 of 5 stars Now to Forever...Fantasy to Reality Wife for Now is yet another hot short read by Penny Wylder. How the hidden office romance fantasy of Secretary Celia towards her CEO Luke comes to reality when he asks her to pretend to be his "wife for now"(weekend). But Luke has a secret hidden from Celia, what will happen when it reveals, will she be his wife for now or forever is the story. I voluntarily reviewing this book following the ARC I received. There is no chapter in the book without physical tension and loving making scenes. Fully scripted from the POV of the female lead as most of books of Penny Wylder's does. I enjoyed reading it. The book is a short read, didn't take more than 90mins for me to finish it and it was good reading time to let out some steam in this summer heat.

This apartment has seen different types of love stories. In this series, all books are standalone and from different authors, and no other characters from other books repeated in another until Boyfriend Maintenance. This book mentions about Elisa Donovan and Match Me app from Swipe me Left, also gives a glimpse of Sarah from the same book, which gave a connected feeling that all love stories are happening at the same residential building. Now getting into the story, Emma King, a rebellious girl from a rich family background with cosmetics business, who walks out of her fortune to lead a independent life.
