When other guys my age were out doing God knows what, I was home making school lunches, helping with math homework, and making dioramas of Native American stories all the while keeping up with my very lucrative gaming hustle. I haven’t been with a woman in years. My last steady girlfriend was the girl I took to prom three months before my parents died. I haven’t been out with a woman in at least ten years. I tried to date at first but it was hard. Having a relationship just wasn't possible. Most women only want me for my money. The others want fame. I am not inclined to let them seek it with me. Others ran when I told them I was raising my six younger brothers. Besides, there is only one woman I want and I don’t even know who she really is.

Her profile picture is just an up-close photo of stunning brown eyes and a sweep of brown bangs. Every time I upload something, she trolls the fuck out of me and oddly enough I love it. I finish the live game play and scroll through the comments. I am actively looking for her. Her snide, witty comments make me happy for some reason. My life revolved around my brother’s and gaming. Now that they are grown men and gaming holds little appeal, I relish reading her comments.

Now that my brothers are out there in the world, I'm finding myself having a bit of empty nest syndrome. They are doing things they are proud of, while I can't even seem to be happy doing what I do. Even Kyle, who graduated high school in May, is already taking summer courses at the University Of South Florida. Logan is the only one who has his own apartment, but he’s always on the road so I don’t know why he has the damn thing. He plays professional rugby in the United Kingdom. He's twenty-two with a lot to prove.

Just as I am about to shut my computer down for the night, I get a message on my website’s chat feature. Usually, I ignore those, preferring to interact with comments, but tonight I can’t. It’s her. I decide that tonight’s the night I get to know her better.

The Wrong Bride by Catharina Maura My rating: 5 of 5 stars The actual bride This was my first book by the author. The book just popped up on recommendation after reading another Indian book series based on arranged marriage. Initially I was hesitant to select this book as I just finished a similar troupe but the author just swayed me away. In the story of Ares and Raven, my heart went out for Raven for what she has been through her life by her mother and devious sister. And Ares, he is just a intelligent fool to not realise what's is right in front of his eyes. I loved the way the story unravelled and scripting. I story telling hooked me up till the end. Though the book is titled "The wrong bride", from the beginning the author was clear to display that Raven must have been the actual bride. Now after getting a glimpse of Luca and Val in the end of the book, I ready to explore other books of the author. View all my reviews...
