I have been reading Penny Wylder's books for almost 3 year now. What I read were mostly Quick reads, but Kiss Me Now was my first long read of Penny.
Kiss Me Now is a story of Cassy and Lark, who have their own baggage and not ready to open up. Cassy, a upcoming cosmetic brand manufacturer who is looking for an Investor. The night before her meeting with the investors she meets Lark and instant attraction sparks between them. They spend the night and next day in the meeting Lark is the husband of her capital investor.
Well Lark is not a bad person actually, he is a person who caught in crossfire between a cunning wife from whom he is trying to get a divorce and his company.
Will Cassy listen to his story, will they both open up about their past hurts and what all the hurdles they have to overcome to stay together... is the remaining story.
Penny has written the story without missing a single detail. The surroundings, location, colours everything, she has details which gave pictorial experience for me. I enjoyed reading the book.

Review: The Wrong Bride

The Wrong Bride by Catharina Maura My rating: 5 of 5 stars The actual bride This was my first book by the author. The book just popped up on recommendation after reading another Indian book series based on arranged marriage. Initially I was hesitant to select this book as I just finished a similar troupe but the author just swayed me away. In the story of Ares and Raven, my heart went out for Raven for what she has been through her life by her mother and devious sister. And Ares, he is just a intelligent fool to not realise what's is right in front of his eyes. I loved the way the story unravelled and scripting. I story telling hooked me up till the end. Though the book is titled "The wrong bride", from the beginning the author was clear to display that Raven must have been the actual bride. Now after getting a glimpse of Luca and Val in the end of the book, I ready to explore other books of the author. View all my reviews...
