Hottest Worst Enemy is a Western Contemporary Romance by Layla Valentine. Told in the third person point of view, the story revolves around Maddy and Caleb.

Maddy Dodge is the youngest of third generation Dodge family who owns the James Dodge Distillery. She helps her brothers Jack and Mark in running it after her father's death. But her dream is to become a musician.

Caleb Rhodes, CEO of Rhodes Corporation founded by his father, but he wants to get back the James Dodge Distillery, which his grandfather Perry Rhodes jointly opened with James Dodge but was later taken away from him.

Caleb runs Rhodes Distillery which has become the main competitor to Dodge's. Maddy's brothers warn her about Caleb and his interest piques hearing her name. Sparks fly when they meet for the first time and following events leads to dating. Learning her interest in music and falling in love with her and her music, Caleb wants her to follow her dreams.

But what happens when the misunderstandings sinks in and whether Maddy chases her dream with Caleb's support, Is the remaining story.

This book is a short and quick read, I finished it within three to four hours. A feel good book that you can read on a relaxing day or while travelling. I personally liked it and giving a five star rating.
