(Resisting) My Brother's Best Friend by Summer BrooksMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Life doesn't always go by our plans. Especially when a right person come out way it tends to change.
Rita, a divorce, who has a viral video on social media out bursting at her former boss for being a workaholic and how it affected her marriage life, joins her brother's restaurant as a bartender. She is not ready for another relationship but she has to work her brother's best friend and partner Sean, on whom she had a crush.
Sean, a billionaire, who owns a restaurant with his friend Donavan, he is a lady's man but other than casual flings he doesn't want to get committed in a relationship or have kids. He has always liked Rita since he first met her even before joining the restaurant.
What happens when Rita has to take up the role of event organizer of the restaurant and organize the engagement party of her brother, by working with Sean is the story? Do their personal life plans change, in spite of their self doubts and assumptions?
I loved the way, the author has taken forward the story and the course of their emotions change over was perfectly scripted. Also this book not just focus only on these two but also how the people surrounding them, their family and friends influence their relationship in a good way. Enjoyed reading the book and giving it a five star rating.
