Review: The CEO's Valentin

The CEO's Valentin The CEO's Valentin by Stella Marie Alden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well, This book might be the fifth in the players series, this was my first contemporary read by Stella Marie Alden, though I have read her medieval and historic love stories already. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reviewers copy of the book. The story is about a company's CEO, who plays undercover to find the mysteries in his dad's company which he soon gonna take over and in the way falls for his employ.
Isabella works for Patten Securities, she is strong head person, when she gets lower rating in her performance chart, she reaches her HR, who is also her best friend, to complain about the gender partiality happens in the company, but instead she finds James, the new HR head. James is actually the CEO of the company, Grayson who is undercover to find the mishappenings his father's company which he is gonna take over after his dying father. He is unable to stop thinking of the woman who came dashing into his office and rant about the management. After their acquaintance Isabella finds out about her cheating boyfriend and after some awkward situations with James, they start dating.
The major setback of the book is, somewhere in the middle the story starts to rush up towards the end and many things didn't have proper disclosure or ending, also the book seemed like to have a cliffhanger. Not my favorite of Ms Alden.
