Amanda, an aspiring artist, returns to North Carolina after breaking up with her abusive boyfriend and inheriting her grandmother's cabin post her death. When she reaches to her cabin, she finds it is in no shape she remembered it, it was the place she grew up when her dad left her and her mom become an addict. She enters to check the cabin, when she falls and yells for help, arrives her hot savior from neighbor, Brian, the alleged single dad. Brian moved to the mountains for solace with his niece, Lanie, after his sister's death and his failure in marriage, he doesn't want any serious relationship with any woman, but he is unable to stay away against his decision. Both have strong attraction between each other and when Lanie's father arrives to get her custody, Brian reaches Amanda with a proposition to be his temporary bride to win over his brother in law. She agrees to help, will they succeed in getting the custody and will they be able to understand that they have more than just hot sexual attraction is the remaining plot.
