The way the author has scripted the story felt more realistic. 95% of the story and events are described grom Seema's perspective. Because of that I couldn't personally connect with Raghav. How his emotions and feelings towards Seema changes goes unaware except for a couple of monents. It could have felt to the fullest if little more of Raghav's perspective was given. The Seeker's Revenge by Isadora Brown My rating: 5 of 5 stars The Seeker's Revenge, the fifth book in the Shadow of Wonderland series is the answer to all the questions weaved in the previous four books. This book was very fast-moving and has the capability to keep the readers bound to the book. Well, so far all the books in the series have been page-turners but this one had an additional edge to it. Except for the answer of "Who killed Anna?" all other mysteries are revealed and Alice takes revenge for an injustice that happened to her. This book had few chapters in Rumple's POV which helped to know the back story of the wonderland, Fae realm, and Mad Mage. Also, in this part of the book, Rumple and Alice realize what they are meant to each other. Queen of Darkness by Isadora Brown My rating: 5 of 5 stars In the previous book we were able to witness, how Drew escapes Keila from the clutches of the Queen and to save her, gives her the Gift of Darkness. With a rebirth and new abilities which she never wanted, Keila has to adjust herself in the new world of Darkness. In spite all the short comes, fights and misunderstanding, the love for each other, helps Keila and Drew to overcome every odds and finally free themselves from the Queen who was chasing them. They lose closed one by betrayal and sacrifices, learn from mistakes to get their freedom. Always a fan of the author's work, loved this series, every book was a page turner and kept me at the edge of the seat. Entirely satisfied with the way of finishing the story. It's everything new for the Keila, traveling in the sea, Darkness, living among the supernatural, and danger always surrounding her. Like the previous books in the series, Gift of Darkness is no less than in thrilling experience, with only a handful of people who wants her safety and others who want the benefit by getting her the Queen, what all Keila discovers and loses is the remaining story. The readers can also get to see Keila and Drew entering into the next level of exploring their feelings. Call of Darkness by Isadora Brown My rating: 5 of 5 stars In the Book 2 of The Vampire Pirates, all the secrets of Book 1 is revealed. Drew and Keila were able to explore more on the feelings towards each and how they have come across odds to have the final escape from the society which brought Keila and held up other innocent souls for their selfish reasons. Still, there is the great escape and final showdown for which only the further parts of the series will answer.
