Review: Always on my Mind

Always on my Mind Always on my Mind by Ali Parker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Always on my mind, is the first in The Dawson Brothers series, this is a rancher romance, I have read other books of Ali Parker and this is the first I received as an ARC and am voluntarily reviewing it. David Dawson, oldest of the four Dawson brothers, their family run a ranch and his parents wants him take care of it as the eldest one and get settled with a family, probably with his ex fiancee, Ella. But David had other plan, he wants to make big in the music industry, for now he plays guitar and sings in Kinsley's bar at his hometown with his band and to keep the reason of his break up with Ella a secret for his parents goodwill. Sarah, an agent returning to her hometown Tennessee from Texas after a ill fate in her career, after driving for long, she drops to a motel to stay for a night enters to the bar next to the motel facility, where she meets David. Sarah listens to his music and feels she can still get back to her career, she reaches him with the idea of launching him for the company she is working. They get to meet again and again and eventually fall in love and do make love, but before they could proceed with their plan, a small stunt pulled by David's mother tears them apart.
Will they get back together, will Sarah be able to Launch him, will his parents support the career he loves and what are the other obstacles they have face is the remaining story. This book is a full length steamy rancher romance, I loved every part of it.

PS: Well, I didn't feel David as a Bad Boy, he is rugged and sizzled but the good one among the brothers.

Review: The Devious Husband

The Devious Husband by Catharina Maura My rating: 5 of 5 stars After reading the stories of all the Windsor Men it was time for the Windsor Woman or I might say Mrs Kingston. Unlike others it was evident that Sierra and Xavier are going to be a pair since Ares and Raven's story "The Wrong Bride". When the story started it was moving in a normal pace and a sort of regular story but once when it reached the mid point, suddenly it turned out to be a roller coaster of emotions. Before this Zane - Celeste and Ares-Raven was my topmost favourites but Sierra-Xavier's pushed those two to 2nd and 3rd favourite. Loved Author Catharina Maura's writing and gonna read more of her works. Also waiting for the release of Valeria and Enzo's story.

Review: The Wrong Bride

The Wrong Bride by Catharina Maura My rating: 5 of 5 stars The actual bride This was my first book by the author. The book just popped up on recommendation after reading another Indian book series based on arranged marriage. Initially I was hesitant to select this book as I just finished a similar troupe but the author just swayed me away. In the story of Ares and Raven, my heart went out for Raven for what she has been through her life by her mother and devious sister. And Ares, he is just a intelligent fool to not realise what's is right in front of his eyes. I loved the way the story unravelled and scripting. I story telling hooked me up till the end. Though the book is titled "The wrong bride", from the beginning the author was clear to display that Raven must have been the actual bride. Now after getting a glimpse of Luca and Val in the end of the book, I ready to explore other books of the author. View all my reviews...
