My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wealthy and successful CEO, Maxwell Brideau who is fondly called by his employees as Mr.B, has a cute little daughter Bella (Isabella), fathering her singly after his disastrous marriage life. One night he finds his daughter's nanny in a bar during her working hours, tries to confront her when she struggles to escape from his grasp, he was punched by a girl. Though Mr.B fires his nanny, he is haunted by the memory of feisty green eyed girl who had punched him without understanding the situation, but least he expected was that she will be working under him as a temporary assistant, Laura, for his brother. Laura a graduate in textile designs, but agrees to work with full heart in an international contractor company where her friend works too, after finding her ex fiance cheating on her and to payback some debts. Both struggle to get off their sexual attraction toward each other, also Max it is much more difficult when he learns Laura is virgin. Max notices that Bella is more attached to Laura than any other woman and how Laura cares for her, this makes him approach Laura with a proposition with benefits all. Bella gets a mother who she is craving, he gets Laura who he wants from very moment they met and Laura gets money to pay her debts and chase her dreams. But he never knew that his heart will get exposed in this arrangement.
I voluntarily reviewing an ARC of the book, I enjoyed the book a lot. I loved Laura's character, she is a woman with guards, loves Bella and Max, but stumbles with her feeling when Max confuses her with his wrong signals. I really donno what to say about Max, he is CEO a dedicated loving dotted father to his daughter, but sees everything as business, he struggle to define his love in terms other than business, which only makes Laura to run away for hills. Like Sam, Max's brother, even felt like kissing his a$$ for being so dumb. I enjoyed Bella, Sam and Riley's characters too, Bella is being a split fire, whirlwinds with her energy, also very understanding for her age. While Sam plays a supportive brother, knows his place and values people, he is matured than his older brother and Riley, a bestie every girl needs.
