Carter and Faith, high school sweethearts, each others first in everything. Faith was the only girl for Carter from his childhood, she was girl he was in love with, but he never the word slip from him. They both had dreams he wants to be Mariner and she wants to be lawyer, Carter doesn't wanted to spoil it making the things complicated and Faith always thought that as a short term high school fling between them.
Now after Nine years, they are back to their hometown, Oakland, things had changed, unable to fulfill their dreams, Carter returns with injury and death of his best friend Wyatt from Marines, Faith is a paralegal not a lawyer. Their chemistry is still present between them, Carter returned for good but Faith is only for week off from her job and Carter is not ready to let her go, this time, even if it is gonna be a long distance one.
I voluntarily reviewing an advanced readers copy of this amazing book, Lara Swann as beautifully scripted this book, it delivers deep emotions and hot chemistry of the leads. The book starts is with passionate teenage romance which heats up with steamy hot romance on the due course.This book has everything family sentiment, friendship, love and hot romance. I loved it and could recommend to 18+.
